They are always lying around, except when you need them, and they are getting hard to find.  If you are in need of a Commodore IEC cable (the one that connects disk drives to your Commodore 8 bit machine), look no further.  These shielded, 6-conductor cables with DIN6 connectors on each end will fit and work perfectly.  Two lengths are available:

• 12" (.3M) cable for devices like uIEC and quick runs between stacked or side-by-side floppy drives
• 48" (1.2M) traditional cable length for longer runs.
